Auntie Kendle and I both LOVE shoes, so it was only natural that we decided to show off my patent leather t-straps complemented by my haute couture white lacey socks. My feet are literally a walking fashion statement.

Such a Prankster

While Auntie Kendle was putting on her face (whatever that means-- she already had a face!) I decided to see how much fun I could have with toilet paper. I know it goes inside the potty, so I was just going to help out. Then Auntie Kendle saw what I was up to and ran off to get her camera. I gave her my million dollar smile to complete the scene!

Dancing Queen

Auntie Kendle came to visit while Maeryn was in the hospital. I showed her some sweet moves when we watched the Backyardigans. I taught Kendle how to bounce up and down, and move her arms all around like me. She looked really silly!

Auntie Kendle's First Post

Today I called Auntie Kendle to remind her to post all of those pictures she has taken of me. These are from our lunch at El Chico on Christmas Eve. Santa came by and gave me a lollipop!

At the Soccer Park

Today we went to the soccer park to play. It is big with lots of open space to run and run and run! We took my ball to the park to play with. Maeryn is too little to run around and play so she stayed in the stoller while Mummy and I kicked the ball to each other. We also raced each other across the field and then back to Maeryn. I can go really fast!

When we were done playing with the ball, we went for a walk around the park. We saw all kinds of birds. They flew away just as we were getting close, so I said to them, "Back here, birds! Back here!" They didnt come back though. They reminded me of the birds at the pet store except the birds at the pet store dont fly away so I can look at them really close.

On our walk home it started to get really windy and we saw clouds moving fast in the sky! Mummy said it was going to rain soon. We made it home before it started to rain and I had Princess Snacks which are always good!

New Reading Spot

I love books. Books are great! They have pictures of all my favorite characters doing all kind of things. Right now I really like Sesame Street and all the silly Muppets. I love to look through all my books and see what adventures Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie and the others have.

The other day, I fell asleep looking at my books and Mummy snapped a pic. I was munching on some Teddy Bear graham crackers one minute and the next I was snoring away! I was really tired because I decided I didn't need a nap earlier.

I also like to climb into my doll's cradle and read. It's just the right size for me to sit in, but it's too small for me to sleep in. I tried. It's the perfect spot to read my Hairy McClary books.

Big Sister Duties

I gotta tell ya, being a big sister has some perks! All kinds of new toys to play with. Well, not really new. They are actually all the toys I had when I was born, but hey! it's been a while so it feels like they are new! I also get to test all hats, pacifiers, and bottles. Mostly just hats...Mummy's a stickler on the others. Something about germs, I dont know.

Let's see...I'm really good at helping mummy change Maeryn's nappies. I pick out which new diaper Maeryn will wear and I hold it for Mummy until she's ready to put it on Maeryn. I also can give Maeryn her pacifier when it falls out and she's crying. Right now I like sharing with her, too. I share my dolls, stickers, juice, and cookies. It's still kind of hard for me to share Mummy and Daddy, though.
